During my time at Tourlane, I had a diverse role with a broad range of responsibilities. As a Senior Visual Designer, my duties extended beyond creating innovative designs. I led strategic planning, brainstorming sessions, concept development, budget management, and reporting. My contributions went beyond the typical scope of a designer and more closely resembled the roles of a creative strategist and design manager.
Furthermore, I played an essential role in the marketing team, consistently generating a weekly revenue of at least 15K€ from a single channel. Over the course of my five-year tenure, I achieved several notable accomplishments. While I was primarily a solo designer during my tenure at Tourlane, this did not affect the pace or quality of my work.
After I departed Tourlane, it took three designers to fill my role. While each is undoubtedly talented, the dynamic nature of my position required a unique pace and proficiency. This experience reinforces my commitment to efficient design and gives real weight to my mantra of #horsespeedpower. It's not just a catchphrase, but a proof of my dedication and skill in the design realm, especially within the startup growth environment.
